OUR TRAINING SITES
Aultman Hospital Main Campus
Aultman Hospital Main Campus is one of our primary training sites. Aultman Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center, that houses the “Deuble Heart and Vascular Institute” with around the clock cath-lab access, also serving as a certified stroke center. Aultman health system has 885 active physicians in more than 40 different medical specialties and more than 7,300 employees, making Aultman, Stark County's largest hospital and largest employer. Our main campus has over 600 licensed beds including a 12-bed inpatient hospice unit and 60 long-term-care beds. Additional centers of excellence at Aultman main campus include the Aultman Timken Cancer Center and a full service orthopedic treatment and rehabilitation unit. We also have a 20-bed medical ICU, 20-bed surgical ICU, and a separate cardiovascular ICU and cardiovascular surgical ICU. Internal medicine residents do rotations in the state-of-the-art medical ICU and cardiovascular ICU as part of their critical care training.

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital
Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital (CCMH) is a full member of the Cleveland Clinic health system. It is a 476-bed hospital serving Stark, Carroll, Wayne, Holmes and Tuscarawas counties and parts of southeastern Ohio. It has 620 members on its medical staff and employs 2,700 people.
Our internal medicine residents spend about half of their inpatient rotations at the CCMH inpatient floors with dedicated teaching faculty team.

Ambulatory Offices
Internal medicine residents get their continuity care and outpatient primary care experiences at the My Community Health Center, which is not-for-profit primary care federally qualified health center and Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital Ambulatory Offices. Residents provide longitudinal care to their own patient panel over three years at the ambulatory offices, under the supervision of teaching faculty.
